Professional Interests
Humanitarian architectural assistance: Projects must evolve out of collaborative engagement thereby allowing culturally specific and sustainable outcomes for communities, so that in future they are self-reliant during natural disasters and can anticipate climate change by having the tools and knowledge to deal with them. Responding to the real needs of endangered communities with professional assistance, EAA work involves advocating good design, planning and maintenance programs as an important element in humanitarian public policy.

2009 Co-founded Studio Nield, a new practice undertaking Health Planning, Architecture and Urban Design Consultancies in Hong Kong, Melbourne, Adelaide and Copenhagen.
Attended Turin UIA International Conference on behalf of EAA proposing they participate in Architectural Humanitarian Aid programs as international coordinator.
2008 Returned as President EAA, Board of Directors for a third time.

Redesign of PLAN International Offices, Melbourne
Set up the NSW Chapter of Architects without Frontiers.
Tsunami Reconstruction: As the NSW Director of Architects without Frontiers (Australia) organized team to go to Sri Lanka for reconstruction projects. She made a visit February to liaise with the SLIA and local NGOʼs re assisting them with the reconstruction.
Initiated with Archicentre (RAIA Australia) and RedR a training program for 25 Architects interested in going to do field to work in devastated areas.

UIA Conference Istanbul Global Studio, Building Better Cities Program spoke about Emergency work and AWF programs.
